In 2025 AWS and Microsoft retired their private-5G products and Nokia moved to divest its integration unit, yet deployments grew by roughly a third to 6,500 networks worldwide by Berg Insight’s count. This guide covers the 3GPP network models, spectrum regimes, and architecture choices.
