Why 5G/6G Academy?

Built by engineers, not resellers. A deep telecom specialist since 2009, trusted by 200,000+ telecom professionals.

Most places you can learn 5G online are one of two things: a giant course marketplace where telecom is a single shelf among thousands, or a video-only platform where you watch, nod along, and never actually touch a network. Both leave you with a completion badge and not much else.

5G/6G Academy is the opposite of that. It is powered by TELCOMA Global, a telecom training company that has done nothing but teach engineers since 2009. Here is what that difference actually buys you.

Six reasons engineers choose us

Built by working engineers, not course resellers

We are not a marketplace stitching together whatever courses show up. Since 2009, TELCOMA Global has taught telecom for a living, and every lesson on the platform is reviewed by engineers who have actually run networks.

A deep specialist, not a generalist catalog

We teach one thing: telecom. 5G NR, 6G, O-RAN, RF and optimization, cloud-native core, and 3GPP standards — taught to the depth a real operator expects, not skimmed as one tile in a thousand-course catalog.

Hands-on labs, not slideware

You learn by doing: interactive labs with real protocol traces to debug, parameters to tune and KPI dashboards to read — backed by 38 free engineering tools you can use on the job, not just while the video plays.

Short daily sessions that fit real work

Each video lesson runs 5–15 minutes. It is built for a working engineer who can spare a session a day, not for someone who can block out a 40-hour marathon that never actually happens.

Certificates employers can verify

Each course ends with a certification exam, and every certificate carries a QR code an employer or recruiter can check for themselves. Your credential proves what you know instead of asking people to take it on faith.

Trusted at scale

Since 2009 we have taught telecom through online courses and corporate programs, to engineers in 150+ countries, and are trusted by 200,000+ telecom professionals.

How we’re different

A generic course marketplace

  • Telecom is one shelf among thousands of unrelated topics.
  • Video-only — you watch, but never touch a real network.
  • Content quality varies by whoever uploaded it.
  • A completion badge with no independent verification.

5G/6G Academy

  • Telecom only — 5G NR, 6G, O-RAN, RF, and core, in real depth.
  • Hands-on labs on 3GPP-accurate traces and configs, plus 38 engineering tools.
  • Every lesson reviewed by working engineers since 2009.
  • Exam-backed certificates employers can verify by QR code.

The credential

A certificate an employer can check

Every engineer who passes a course’s graded exam gets a numbered TELCOMA certificate with a QR code. Scanning it opens a public page with the holder, the certification, the score and the date, read from our records rather than from the PDF in your inbox. Nobody needs an account to check one.
