NEMO Outdoor is Keysight's drive-test platform, and the usual counterpart you'll hear named alongside TEMS. Same core job — connect test devices and scanners, drive the route, collect GPS-tagged RF measurements in real time — but it's particularly known for solid multi-technology coverage, logging across 2G/3G/4G/5G in one session, which matters when you're testing inter-RAT behaviour or a network mid-migration.

Choosing between NEMO and TEMS in practice usually comes down to which test devices and chipsets each supports for the network you're measuring, what your post-processing chain expects (NEMO logs feed Keysight's NEMO Analyze; TEMS feeds Discovery), and frankly what the team already owns and knows. Functionally they overlap heavily, so the decision often turns on the scripting and automation side: if you need unattended or repeatable test sequences — scheduled call/data scenarios, scanner-plus-device captures triggered automatically — look hard at how each handles automated scripting, because that's where the day-to-day time saving on a long campaign actually comes from.
