A digital badge records that you moved through the material. It is issued by the same party that sold you the course, on the strength of you having watched it, and there is no moment at which it could have been withheld.

Our certificate is issued only after a graded exam — one domain per module, every question written against a specific lesson, with a pass mark you can miss. It carries a number and a QR code to a public verification page: a recruiter opens it with no account and sees the holder, the exam, the score and the date, read from our records rather than from the file in their inbox.

If your reason for training is to be able to show somebody evidence, those two objects do different jobs, and only one of them answers "how do I know?"

Their 5G RAN On-Demand course is £750 excl. VAT for 22 hours of material with three months' access. That is roughly £34 an hour for material you stop being able to open in the autumn — and if the project that needed it slips a quarter, you buy it again.

A single certification here is $99 and does not expire. You can come back to the Core call flows the week you actually need them, two years later, without a second invoice. The all-access subscription is $399 a year list — £1,050 is a departmental purchase order; this is a decision an engineer can make without one.

New certifications land into the same subscription and are included at the price you started on, so keeping current does not mean being re-quoted every time the field moves.

Hands-on work is not a headline part of the Hub offer. It is most of the point of ours.

The labs are in the base price: real message traces to decode field by field, vendor configs to read the way you would read them on a live network, and a 5G core simulator that responds to what you type — stop the UPF and the SMF contexts drop, and you follow the failure back to the UE yourself.

One interactive lab per course is open on a free account before you pay anything. That is the fastest way to tell whether this is teaching or slideware, and it costs nothing to check.
