The Detach procedure is the reverse of Attach — it cleanly tears down all bearers, releases resources, and deregisters the UE from the network. Detach can be UE-initiated (phone shutting down or switching to airplane mode) or network-initiated (subscription expired, administrative action). A clean detach frees network resources immediately rather than waiting for timers to expire.
