Government RF Certification

Government regulatory certification is required for any device that emits radio frequency energy. The certification verifies the device meets spectrum-use regulations specific to each market. FCC (Federal Communications Commission, US): Part 15 covers unintentional emissions; Part 22, 24, 27 for licensed spectrum (cellular bands). Manufacturers submit test reports through accredited labs and receive an FCC ID assigned to the device.
