Lab: Build IMS + 5GC integrated architecture

IMS + 5GC Integration Lab

In this exercise you will build the complete IMS plus 5G Core integrated architecture by placing components and connecting interfaces. The key challenge is understanding how IMS sits alongside the 5GC. The IMS signaling PDU session provides the IP path from UE through gNB and UPF to P-CSCF — this is the plumbing that SIP messages travel through. The Rx/N5 interface from P-CSCF to PCF is the critical bridge enabling dynamic QoS authorization whenever a voice or video call is initiated. Place each component in its correct network location and wire all interfaces.
