DSS: LTE and NR on the Same Carrier
Dynamic Spectrum Sharing enables LTE and NR to operate simultaneously on the same frequency carrier without dedicating separate spectrum to each technology. The scheduler dynamically allocates resources between LTE and NR users on a per-subframe basis. When NR traffic is low, LTE gets most resources; when NR demand increases, the scheduler shifts resources to NR.
