Azimuth planning and sector orientation
Sector Azimuth Configuration
Azimuth is the horizontal pointing direction of each sector, measured in degrees from true north (0–360°). For a standard 3-sector site with 65° beamwidth antennas, sectors are spaced 120° apart. The default orientation places sectors at 0°, 120°, and 240° — but real deployments adjust based on the area to be covered. Point sector beams toward the highest traffic concentration: along major roads, toward commercial districts, or covering specific buildings.
