Network slicing in private 5G creates logically isolated virtual networks tailored to specific enterprise application requirements. A smart factory might define three slices — an eMBB slice for video cameras delivering high throughput, a URLLC slice for robotic control with guaranteed sub-5-millisecond latency, and an mMTC slice for thousands of IoT sensors requiring energy-efficient connectivity.
