Non-RT RIC Platform Architecture

The Non-RT RIC operates on control loops longer than one second, handling strategic RAN optimization, ML model training, and policy management. It is hosted within the Service Management and Orchestration framework and exposes the R1 interface for rApp access to platform services. The Non-RT RIC includes an A1 policy management function that creates, updates, and deletes policies sent to the near-RT RIC over A1. It also provides an enrichment information service that aggregates data from external sources such as MDT, OSS, and network analytics to feed rApp decision-making.
