Network Slicing · Pro
Each network slice has an SLA that defines guaranteed performance metrics, and slice assurance means continuously monitoring these KPIs and taking action when an SLA violation is imminent. Different slice types have different critical KPIs. An eMBB slice is measured on throughput, availability, and coverage. A URLLC slice is judged on latency, reliability measured in five nines, and jitter. An mIoT slice tracks device density, battery life impact, and message delivery success rate. Each metric has thresholds that trigger warnings before violations actually occur.
