Hybrid DAS Concept
Hybrid DAS combines the best attributes of active and passive architectures. A digital headend and fiber backbone transport signals from the equipment room to intermediate distribution points on each floor — the active portion. From these floor-level distribution points, passive coaxial networks with splitters and antennas provide the final coverage — the passive portion.
