A professional drive test setup requires several specialized components. The RF Scanner (PCTEL SeeHawk, R&S TSMA, or Accuver XCAL-Solo) passively scans multiple bands simultaneously without connecting to any network, decoding broadcast channels from all operators and technologies within range. It requires a roof-mounted wideband omnidirectional antenna covering 600 MHz to 6 GHz.
