Typical 5G NR operator benchmarks: cell average throughput 200-400 Mbps DL for n78 (100 MHz) with massive MIMO, cell edge throughput 10-20 Mbps DL at -110 dBm RSRP. User perceived throughput targets: 50th percentile above 100 Mbps DL, 10th percentile above 20 Mbps DL. CQI distribution targets: median CQI above 10 for 256QAM utilization above 40%. BLER target below 10% initial transmission, below 1% after HARQ retransmissions. RRC setup success rate target above 99.5%, PDU session setup success above 99.0%.
