What Does an RF/RAN Engineer Do?
RF/RAN engineers are responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing the radio access network. Their day-to-day work includes site selection, antenna configuration, RF parameter tuning, drive test analysis, and troubleshooting coverage or capacity issues. They collaborate closely with site acquisition teams, construction crews, and network operations to ensure each cell site meets coverage and performance targets before and after launch.
