Network slicing allows operators to run multiple logical networks on shared physical infrastructure. An eMBB slice, a URLLC slice, and an IoT slice might all share the same servers and transport links. This sharing introduces a fundamental security challenge: how do you prevent one slice from affecting another? A compromised eMBB slice must not be able to access URLLC resources or data. Isolation must be enforced at multiple levels simultaneously, because a gap at any single level can undermine the entire slicing security model and expose neighboring slices to attack.
