Downlink Control Information
DCI is the scheduling message transmitted on PDCCH that instructs UEs precisely which resources to use for data transmission and reception. NR defines several DCI format families, each dedicated to a specific scheduling function. Formats 0_0 and 0_1 schedule uplink transmissions on PUSCH, while formats 1_0 and 1_1 schedule downlink receptions on PDSCH.
