In this lab you will adjust electrical downtilt and horizontal beamwidth on a simulated massive MIMO antenna panel and observe the resulting changes to coverage footprint and signal quality. Increasing the electrical downtilt angle focuses the antenna's energy closer to the base of the tower, reducing the effective cell radius while improving signal-to-interference ratio at the cell edge. Narrowing the beamwidth concentrates gain into a smaller angular area, delivering a stronger signal in that region but covering less horizontal space overall.
