Three Policy Types, Three Scopes

PCF creates three distinct types of policies, each controlling a different aspect of the 5G service. AM Policy (Access and Mobility) is delivered to the AMF via N15 and controls per-UE behavior across all sessions. It manages the RFSP index for RAT and frequency selection priority, service area restrictions that limit where the UE can connect, and RAT restrictions that control which access technologies are allowed. Think of AM Policy as the answer to the question: where and how can this subscriber connect to the network?
