UE-initiated and network-initiated deregistration
Ending the Registration
Deregistration is the graceful termination of a UE's registration with the network. It can be initiated by the UE when the user powers off the device, removes the USIM, or the device firmware triggers a deregistration for maintenance reasons. It can also be network-initiated by the AMF when the operator changes subscription data, re-authentication fails, or an administrative action requires the UE to be removed from the network. In both cases, all active PDU sessions are released as part of the deregistration process.
