Session Continuity During Mobility

SSC (Session and Service Continuity) modes define what happens to a PDU session when the UE moves and the current UPF is no longer optimal. This is critical because different applications have different tolerance for disruption. A voice call cannot tolerate any interruption, while an IoT sensor report can handle a brief gap. The SSC mode is negotiated during PDU session establishment based on the UE request and network policy, and it determines how the session behaves for the entire lifetime of that PDU session.
