In this lab you will trace a data packet from the moment an application on the UE generates it all the way to the internet. You will follow the packet through each processing stage: the SDAP layer mapping it to a QoS flow, PDCP encrypting and adding integrity protection, RLC segmenting it for the radio channel, the gNB receiving and extracting the inner IP packet, GTP-U encapsulation for the N3 tunnel to the UPF, UPF packet processing through the PDR and FAR rules, and finally IP forwarding to the data network over N6.
