SBA Topology Exercise

In this hands-on lab you will construct the 5GC Service-Based Architecture by placing all network functions onto the common service bus. You will position the AMF, SMF, UDM, AUSF, PCF, NRF, NSSF, NEF, and NWDAF on the bus and connect them. Understanding which NFs sit on the service bus and which do not is a fundamental concept that appears repeatedly in design discussions and certification exams. Pay special attention to the UPF, which is a user plane function and connects to the SMF via the N4 reference point interface rather than the SBA bus.
