FWA End-to-End Architecture

Fixed Wireless Access uses 5G NR to deliver broadband connectivity to homes and businesses as an alternative to fiber or cable. The architecture consists of three key elements: a macro or small-cell gNB providing wireless coverage, a Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) device that terminates the NR radio link, and a Wi-Fi router distributing connectivity to end devices.
